Chicken Karahi
Ingredients
Chicken (Half kg)
Onion (2 medium size)
Tomatoes (2 medium size)
Ginger garlic paste (2 Tablespoons)
Lemon juice (2 Tablespoons)
Green Chili (2 pcs)
Salt (1/2 Teaspoon)
Warming spices powder (1/2 Teaspoon)
Chili powder (1/2 Teaspoon)
Chili flakes (1/2 Teaspoon)
Coriander powder (1 teaspoon)
Turmeric powder (1/2 Teaspoon)
Black pepper powder ( 1/2 Teaspoon)
Yogurt (1 cup)
Tamarind Pulp (2 Teaspoon)
Oil (Half cup)
Method
Take a pot add oil and onion. When onion color change into light brown then add clean and dry chicken. Sauté chicken for 2 minutes then add ginger garlic paste and warming spices powder. Sauté them for 5 minutes until chicken rotten smell gone .Then add tomatoes, green chili and all the above mentioned spices. Mix them well. Add half cup of water and cover the pot with lid . Cook chicken for 10 minutes on medium flame. After 10 minutes add yogurt, lemon juice and Tamarind Pulp. Mix them well. Cook for 5 minutes more until water evaporates and oil comes out in chicken.
Yummy and delicious Chicken KARAHI is ready.
