Tandoori chicken Karahi
Ingredients
Chicken (Half kg)
Oil (1/3 cup)
Tandoori Chicken powder (1 Tablespoon)
Yogurt ( 1 cup)
Salt (1/2 Teaspoon)
Red Chili powder (1/3 Teaspoon)
Warming spices powder (1/3 Teaspoon)
Turmeric powder (1/2 Teaspoon)
Coriander powder (1 Teaspoon)
Ginger garlic paste ( 2 Teaspoon)
Lemon juice (1 Tablespoon)
Tomatoes pure (1 cup)
Dry fenugreek leaves (1 Teaspoon)
Ginger (For Garnishing)
Coriander leaves (For Garnishing)
Method
Take a washed and dry chicken in a bowl . Add
ginger garlic paste, yogurt, lemon juice, salt, red chili powder, warming spices powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder and tandoori chicken powder. Mix them well. Marinate tandoori chicken for 2 hours.
Take a cooking pot add oil .Shallow fry marinated chicken pieces in oil for 5 minutes then add tomatoes puree and remaining tandoori chicken mixture. Mix them well. Cover the pot with lid and cook for 1o minutes on medium flame When water evaporates then add dry fenugreek leaves and cook for 3 minutes on low flame .
Yummy and delicious tandoori chicken Karahi is ready.
