Chicken Biryani

    Chicken Biryani 


First of all Let's make Chicken Mixture

Ingredients


Chicken (1 kg)
Oil (1 cup)
Onion (4 pcs)
Tomatoes (5 to 6 pcs)
Potatoes (3 pcs) Optional 
Ginger garlic paste (3 Tablespoons)
Shan Biryani Masala (1 packet)
Lemon juice (3 Teaspoon)
Warming spices powder (1 Teaspoon)
Yogurt (1 cup)
Dried Plums ( 6 to 7)
Tamarind (1 Teaspoon)
Water (1 cup)

Method

Take a pot add oil and onions. Cook onions until onions color change into light Brown then add washed and dry Chicken. Fry the chicken well with onions then add ginger garlic paste and warming spices powder. Fry them for 5 minutes or until chicken rotten smell gone. After 5 minutes add tomatoes and any Biryani Masala according to your likings. Mix them well with chicken and add water and cover the pot with lid .Cook chicken for 10 minutes on medium flame. After 10 minutes remove the lid. Add yogurt and lemon juice. Cook the chicken until water evaporates and oil comes out in Chicken.



Ingredients for Boiled Rice

Rice (3 cups)
Cloves (1/2 Teaspoon)
Black pepper (1/2 Teaspoon)
Pungent leaves (1)
Cumin seeds (1 Teaspoon)
Cinnamon (2)
Black cardamom (1)
Cardamom (1)
Salt (1 Teaspoon)
Green Chili (4)
Lemon (2)
Water (7 to 8 cups)

Method


Soak the Rice for half an hour. Take a pot add water , soaked rice, lemon, green chili, salt and all the above mentioned warming spices. Put the pot on medium flame and boiled the rice. Rice should be boiled 70 percent at this stage. Stained the rice.

            Layering 

Ingredients

Coriander leaves (For Garnishing)

Mint leaves (For Garnishing)

Orange food color (1 /2 Teaspoon)



Method

Take clean pot. Put this pot on plan pan on medium flame. Put first layer of  boiled rice and Chicken Mixture above it. Then again put 2 layer of boiled rice and chicken mixture .Repeat the same for third time and add coriander leaves with rice, mint leaves and food color .Now cover the pot with lid and cook biryani on low flame for 15 minutes.
Yummy and delicious Biryani is ready.
